Soffice organizers

Soffice is a series of organizers made of molded felt, obtained from post-consumer recycled PET.
The series is composed by an office bag, a toolbox, a cable storage box and a desk organizer, made of thermo-formed recycled PET felt combined with powder coated metal and wooden elements. The warm feel of the recycled felt and wooden parts create a welcoming interaction with these daily tools of contemporary office spaces. The Soffice accessories can be used as single pieces or as a whole kit for personal office storage.
The four different pieces of the collections are obtained with two thermo-forming molds. The project idea was to obtain more than one object from the same mold, by cutting the same thermo-formed felt shell in different ways. Initially we imagined to obtain the four products from the same mold, then in the development phase we decided to use two molds with different heights in order to reduce the amount of waste when cutting the smaller objects of the series.
