We designed the Gratta cat scratcher with a minimal and understated identity to fit naturally in every home.
The long curved surface supports the natural scratching motion, while its concave form also offers a cozy spot for cats to relax or nap. Built with a durable design, it comes with replaceable scratching inserts in recyclable cardboard to ensure long-lasting use.
Mia Cara is one of the leading companies in high quality products for pets. In our collaboration with them we often work on products that are a bit unconventional. We are pushed to research in a niche with very specific requirements in terms of materials, durability and hygiene and to study the needs of our four legged friends as well as the ones of their human mates. We always conduct many tests on the products, to try their functions and see how the animals interact with the object. One of the central themes in our designs for Mia cara is to design products that can integrate discreetly into the interior, without appearing obviously like a pet product, just like a well designed object or piece of furniture.
