Gest sofa

The Gest series sofa series is born with the purpose of designing a sofa bed that is extremely comfortable and ergonomic in the bed configuration.
The sofa bed is constructed around a specific mechanism that allowed us to integrate into the sofa a mattress thicker than usual and highly comfortable, a feature that is often neglected in many sofa beds. The mechanism is extremely easy to unfold, without need to remove any cushions from the sofa. The design is characterized by soft and welcoming upholstered volumes combined with a neat wooden frame that draws a contour at the base of the sofa. The sofa bed can be combined with a pouf that offers a convenient storage solution for bedding.
After designing the Gest sofa bed, we completed the collection with a normal sofa without bed function, where we could work more freely with proportions and sizes, designing a wide range of sofa configurations characterized by a low and relaxed feel, always distinguished by the combination of upholstery and solid oak. For the whole series, including the sofa bed, we have designed the upholstery so that the fabric cover can be removed and washed or replaced over time.
