Ronya table has a functional and understated design, with soft and welcoming aesthetics characterized by refined and crafted solid oak details. We worked on an elementary system with legs fixed in the corners so as to leave as much space as possible for the chairs around the table. Table top, aprons and legs are shaped with smooth and organic volumes. We studied a crafted joint between legs and aprons, which highlights the texture and quality of solid oak. The top of the legs is rounded and slightly detached from the table top, creating a subtle shadow detail. Ronya table is extendable, with a special in-built extension mechanism which avoids the division in the middle of the table and allows to have the tabletop made of one single wooden board. A both functional and aesthetic solution for people who likes to have guests and add a few seats at their table.
