Merge is a simple and refined chair completely made of solid wood. We aimed for a mono-material, honest product, durable both in terms of quality and style. Merge's petite proportions allow it to place many chairs around a table and make it suitable for all dining situations. Using solid wood we focused on enhancing the nature of the material with smooth and welcoming volumes that can be obtained with advanced contemporary manufacturing technologies. In the upholstered version, the seat pad is a separate component fixed to the solid wood seat and it can be replaced if the fabric wears out in time, extending substantially the life time of the chair.
